  1. CHO Health Alerts: Hepatitis A outbreak

    March 06, 2018

    Cases of hepatitis A continue to rise in Victoria with one death confirmed as part of the outbreak. There are now 58 confirmed outbreak cases, seven probable cases and one death. An additional 16 cases of hepatitis A are under early investigation.

  3. Listeria outbreak linked to rockmelon (cantaloupe)

    March 02, 2018

    There is a national outbreak of listeriosis linked to the consumption of rockmelon (cantaloupe) from New South Wales, leading to a trade-level recall on Thursday 1 March, 2018. Ten cases have been identified as part of this outbreak nationally, including one Victorian case. Further cases are expected.
