Endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics

Endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics

Three specialised clinics have been established within the EMPHN region to reduce delays in diagnosis, and to promote early intervention, care and treatment for people experiencing the debilitating effects of endometriosis and pelvic pain.

About the clinics

The three clinics — located in Epping, Ringwood and Yarra Junction — are led by specialist GPs, and are supported by a range of health professionals, including nurses and allied health.

Services offered by the clinics include:

  • medical consultations
  • diagnostic investigations
  • pelvic pain management
  • pelvic floor physiotherapy
  • dieticians
  • established referrals pathway to specialist clinics and allied health providers

As well as directly helping patients, the clinics will raise awareness of endometriosis and pelvic pain, build professional knowledge and skills, and improve access to information and care pathways.
