Camberwell Medical Group - Nurse

Camberwell Medical Group are looking for a Div 1 registered nurse.

The position that is available is casual/part-time, 2-3 days a week. Thursday is a must plus Monday, Wednesday or Friday during flu season or busy days. (Please note, the clinic offers flexible working hours).

Essential for the role:
- Minimum 1-year recent general practice nursing experience
- APRHA registration
- Excellent communication skills
- Efficient time management and multi-tasking ability
- Proficient in electronic record keeping and computer skills using Best Practice

The position involves general nursing and medical reception duties including:
- Vaccinations
- Wound management
- Care plans
- Health assessments
- Diabetic assessments
- Infection control procedures
- Assisting doctors
- Telephone appointments
- Arriving and billing patients
- Medical stock control
- Iron infusions
- ECG
- Immunisations – travel and childhood
- Maintaining recall and reminder system
- Cold chain management
