Priority Primary Care Centres (PPCCs) in EMPHN

The Victorian Government is funding 25 Priority Primary Care Centres (PPCCs) across the state. Primary Health Networks (PHNs) are commissioning these clinics in their respective regions. The clinics will ease pressure on nearby hospital emergency departments. They will provide GP-led care for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions such as mild infections, fractures and burns. They will also offer pathology and imaging services and will be open 7 days a week for up to 16 hours a day. Patients of all ages will be able to access care with or without a Medicare card, at no cost to the patient.

Tender documentation and notification

Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network has opened a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process for eligible providers wishing to establish and operate PPCCs in its region from December. The tender has been published on EMPHN’s eProcure online portal. To register, click here.
