GP Lactation Webinar: Common Breastfeeding Concerns

Monash Health is pleased to invite their maternity shared care affiliates to join their experts, Dr Kate Naylor (GP Lactation Consultant) and Sancha O'Donoghue (Midwife Consultant, Lactation Services, Monash Health) for an interactive case-based discussion on common breastfeeding presentations in general practice.

This online event will support you to manage common presentations in your clinical practice, including:

• mastitis management (updated protocol)
• oversupply
• undersupply (real or perceived) and concern with premature formula introduction
• antenatal colostrum expression - Monash Health guideline
• nipple damage/infections and management
• tongue tie assessment and management
• new WHO recommendation re cows milk introduction.

RACGP points applied for: 1.5 hours (EA)

Attendance at this event will contribute 1.5 hours towards Monash Health Shared Care credentialing requirements.
