Provider Connect Australia roll-out

Provider Connect Australia roll-out

01 May, 2023

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) has begun a staged roll-out of its new Provider Connect Australia (PCA) system in general practices, pharmacies and specialists that provide vaccines services.

Using the national PCA service, healthcare organisations can improve the quality and reliability of communications with other organisations and services, including the National Health Services Directory, secure messaging vendors and healthcare directories, reducing their administrative burden and giving them back time to put into healthcare.

The ADHA are currently contacting all healthcare organisations that are currently on the VCF (Vaccine Clinic Finder) as this system will be shutting down in June. ADHA is supporting the transition from VCF to PCA.

Those not on the VCF list will be contacted by their PHN. The Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) has already sent an email to all those in the eastern catchment. If you would like assistance with registering for PCA or to find out more information please contact EMPHN Digital Health Team: digitalhealth@emphn.org.au
