WorkSafe Victoria is completing a Clinical Redesign Program. This program aims to improve Injured Worker outcomes.
As part of this program, WorkSafe is launching a new clinical hotline for Treating Health Practitioners to have direct access to our panel of workers compensation clinical experts.
The Clinical Hotline pilot launched Monday 3 May and is staffed by WSV GP’s, Occupational and Sports Physicians between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Thursday. The Clinical Hotline is 03 4243 6950.
These clinical experts include experienced WorkSafe Victoria clinicians from a variety of health disciplines. The first phase of The Clinical Hotline pilot will start with taking calls from GPs in Western Victoria and Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network catchments.
General Practitioners are welcome to call outside of these hours and leave a message for a Hotline Clinician to return their call the following business day. View the FAQs, Poster and Query Types guide
