The Government has approved an extension of the COVID-19 Vaccination Program funding that will allow PHNs to continue to support the role of primary care providers in the administration of COVID-19 vaccines and to support the delivery of programs that assist vulnerable populations to access vaccines.
This activity has been extended for a further 12 months to 31 December 2023, to enable everyone in Australia to have access to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines. Referrals to the vulnerable persons homebound vaccination program can be made here. Aged Care residents are also eligible for this program.
