EMPHN Mental Health & AOD e-Learning for primary care

21 June, 2021

EMPHN has designed and implemented a series of nine e-learning modules for GPs, EMPHN commissioned providers and broader service providers within EMPHN community.

This aims to improve learner’s knowledge on key Mental Health and AoD principles. This course is accredited by RACGP and includes 40 CPD activity points for other health professionals.

Learning outcomes

The course complements face-to-face training and enables general practitioners and primary health professionals to access online professional development, which will enhance their capacity to deliver high quality, collaborative and evidence based, person centred care in a consistent way.

The course will provide practitioners with a framework for excellence in service delivery of stepped care approaches, clinical staging and interventions based on clinical evidence.

The course also provides opportunities to ensure a capable workforce as an enabler in driving transformation, practice and system change.
