Emergency Response Planning Tool (ERPT) licenses

Emergency Response Planning Tool (ERPT) licenses

13 May, 2021

The Victorian Department of Health are continuing to fund licenses for GP practices across Victoria to use the Emergency Response Planning Tool (ERPT).

Licenses are available now.

What is the ERPT?

It keeps your practice disaster-ready.

The ERPT is an on-line tool which assists general practices in better preparing for, responding to and recovering from the impacts of emergencies and pandemics.

Maintaining an up-to-date emergency plan helps ensure the safety of staff, the smooth recovery of practices should an unforeseen event happen and reduces the risk of financial loss.

The ERPT Has 17 modules including those more recently added on cyber-incident response, a re-vamped and in-depth pandemic module taking into account the current situation and a Covid safety plan developed for GPs by the RACGP.

The ERPT is compliant with the 5th edition of the GP standards toward accreditation.

When can practices register?

You can register here or book a video orientation/getting started session.
