The Department of Health is creating a series of in-language videos to address vaccine misinformation in multicultural communities.
They are recruiting volunteer multilingual GPs to recite some translated scripts with COVID-19 vaccine information.
Volunteer GPs would be speaking directly to camera in their own language to deliver these messages in a conversational style. All volunteers will receive a gift voucher as reimbursement. Filming will take place in the Melbourne area on March 9 or 10.
They are specifically recruiting volunteer GPs who speak the below languages:
- Dari
- Hazaragi
- Karen
- Sudanese Arabic
- Persian
- Punjabi
- Swahili
- Lao
- Assyrian
