As you may be aware, the Australian government will be facilitating the supply of the COVID-19 vaccine to general Practices selected to participate in the roll-out of phase 1b.
Participating Practices will have several responsibilities as part of this roll-out, including operations on its own premises, on-site storage and administration of the vaccine, ensuring availability of and providing training for their staff and taking all reasonable steps to ensure compliance with the already stipulated minimum site requirements.
The team at Best Practice Software would like the opportunity to guide you through this process, and invite all participating Practices in the Phase 1b roll-out to take part in a free informational session, scheduled to commence on Monday the 22 of March.
The sessions will be split into two components. Their recommended workflows for your Practice, and an opportunity to answer any questions you might have on managing this effectively in your Practice.
The sessions will cover the following components:
- A brief overview of the Phase 1b COVID-19 Vaccine roll-out
- Setting up your Practice - including getting your appointment book ready, consent forms and online appointment systems
- Patient screening
- Patient Booking configuration and workflows
- Recording the vaccine
- Billing requirements
- Reporting
