Allied health services in residential aged care facilities affected by COVID-19

21 April, 2021

Opportunities are available for allied health providers (namely physiotherapists, occupational therapists and/or exercise physiologists) to deliver a 26-week program of physical therapy for residents of eligible Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).

The program must begin delivery by June 2021.

The program aims to combat the deconditioning of residents of RACFs that experienced COVID-19 outbreaks in 2020 (“eligible RACFs”), across the Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) catchment. You can use the PHN locator map to view PHN catchment areas.

Each PHN has their own application process and so providers wishing to apply to provide service to multiple RACFs across PHN regions must separately apply to the relevant PHN that covers the location of each RACF that they are interested in.

To access further information and apply for the opportunity, please register your organisation using e-Procure here.

The Closing Time to submit for applications via e-Procure in the EMPHN catchment has been extended to 9AM Melbourne AET on Monday, 3 May 2021. Closing Times are strictly enforced.
