Having trouble completing patient registrations?
Refer to the Services Australia eLearning: MyMedicare Managing patient registration guide to provide step by step instructions on how to:
- Finding patients to register in HPOS
- How to register patients
- Accessing and exporting patient lists
- Managing pending registrations
- Deleting and amending patient registrations
- Withdrawing a patient
Patient registration trouble shooting:
- If you have recently completed accreditation since registering for MyMedicare, you will need to go back into the accreditation tab Organisation Site record to update your dates
- When finding a patient to register for MyMedicare, you will only be able to use the Medicare Card or Veteran file number details to successfully search in the Find a Patient Screen. Do not search for patients using patient name or date of birth option.
