Workshop: Assessing health care needs in eastern and north-eastern Melbourne

Primary Health Networks perform evidence-based needs assessments of their region to identify their unique regional and local priorities.

These are in addition to the priorities set by the Australian Government. In November 2021, EMPHN will submit its next three-year Needs Assessment informed by engagement with healthcare providers and consumers throughout its region.

We would like the priorities identified to have regional significance and relevance for service providers and other stakeholders in our catchment to encourage an integrated approach to address service gaps and health inequalities.

Participate in the development of a regional Needs Assessment via a virtual workshop:

When: Wednesday 10 February, 6.30-8.30pm via Zoom

RSVP: By 5pm on Friday 29 January via registering here.

Workshop objectives:

  • Discuss emerging areas of concern that Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN’s) Needs Assessment 2021-23 should focus on to inform strategic thinking and planning in the eastern and north-eastern Melbourne region’s health care system.
  • Strategise how EMPHN can mobilise a shared response to address regional needs and service gaps.

Who will be attending?

Senior healthcare leaders, alliance members, consumers and carers, clinicians, and EMPHN’s Board, Clinical Council and Consumer Advisory Committee.
