Eastern Melbourne PHN is pleased to welcome the Support After Suicide program to the catchment. Jesuit Social Services, Support After Suicide currently operates across the metro PHN catchments (SEMPHN and NWMPHN) and also in the Gippsland and Western Victoria PHN regions.
The program offers free counselling, support groups and online resources to those who have lost a loved one to suicide. The Support After Suicide program assists people by reducing the very difficult impact of grief and trauma. By connecting them with one of the caring specialist team members, people can find ways to live with this complex and sometimes overwhelming experience.
