Did you know that approx. 1/4 of all people living with CHB in Victoria were born in mainland China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan (estimated at 14, 700)? 37% live within the Eastern Melbourne PHN catchment.
The topics most practical to those working in the primary care setting will be covered: at risk populations, modes of transmission, and management, including: risk assessment, screening, testing, diagnosis, and suitability and preparation for treatment. Whilst this course is specifically targeting GPs or primary care staff of Chinese heritage or those who see patients of Chinese ancestry, all GPs and primary care staff are welcome to attend.
